CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Anyone with the following conditions or taking the following medications
should not take Diflucan
-
Do not take Diflucan if you are pregnant
or breast feeding!
-
Do not take Diflucan if you are taking
Propulsid or Cisapride - One must NOT take Diflucan if taking Propulsid
- heart related complications could occur!
-
Do not take Diflucan if you are taking
any of the following medications:
-
Oral Hypoglycemics or any Sulfonylure
oral hypoglycemic agents for blood sugar control or diabetes such as but
not limited to Tolbutamide, Glipizide or Glyburide
-
Coumarin or Warfarin-type anticoagulants
-
Rifabutin, Ansamycin Mycobutin, or
Rifampin
-
Phenytoin, Dilantin or any anti-seizure
medications
-
Cyclosporine or Amphotericin B or
Buspirone
-
Tacrolimus or Zidovudine
-
Theophylline or any asthma or allergy
medications
-
Seldane (Terfenadine) or Hismanal
(Astemizole), Singulair,Accolate
-
Benzodiazapams or anxiety medications
or sleep medications
-
Anyone with any renal function abnormalities,
impaired renal function, renal failure, renal disease or disease.
-
DO NOT TAKE DIFLUCAN IF YOU HAVE
LIVER DISEASE. Diflucan is contraindicated in anyone with liver function
abnormalities, liver disease, hepatitis or any other medical disorder of
liver function including but not limited to cirrhosis of the liver, liver
cancer, jaundice etc. should not take Diflucan. If you have any questions
about your medical condition, consult your primary care physician before
taking Diflucan.

Hypersensitivity or allergies to
any ingredient of Diflucan: Fluconazole =active ingredient. Inactive
ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate anhydrous,
povidone, croscarmellose sodium, FD&C Red No. 40 aluminum lake dye,
and magnesium stearate.

Diflucan is contraindicated in anyone
with hypersensitivity to any other azole antifungal agent
-
Do not take Diflucan for vaginal
candida yeast infections if you are HIV positive, have a severely compromised
immune system or are undergoing chemotherapy
-
Do not take Diflucan if you are experiencing
Fever, pain in the lower abdomen, back or either shoulder or if you have
a foul-smelling vaginal discharge.
IMPORTANT WARNING-SIDE
EFFECTS:
-
In rare cases
DIFLUCAN has been associated with rare cases of serious hepatic (liver)
toxicity including fatalities primarily in patients with serious underlying
medical conditions. Diflucan hepatotoxicity is usually, but not always,
been reversible on discontinuation of therapy.
-
In rare cases,
anaphylaxis has been reported-severe allergic reactions. Consult
your physician immediately if develop swelling, rash or shortness of breath.
-
In very rare
cases and more commonly with prolonged usage, exfoliative skin disorders
can occur. If one develops any sort of rash or skin reaction one
must seek immediate medical attention.
-
The most common
side effects of a Diflucan single dosage is headache (13%), nausea (7%)
and abdominal pain (6%).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Online Diflucan
