In order for Medical Wellness Center Physicians to provide you with the best care, you need to reply honesty to all questions and you need to understand any and all contraindications,  risks and side effects associated with Soolantra® cream (Ivermectin)  prescription
 
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Soolantra Cream (Ivermectin) is CONTRAINDICATED and must NOT be used in anyone with the following conditions:
  • Do NOT use Soolantra® cream if you are pregnant or attempting to become pregnant. 
  • Do NOT use Soolantra® cream if you are breast feeding.  Ivermectin is distributed in breast milk.
  • Do NOT use Soolantra® cream if you are allergic  or sensitive to Ivermectin
  • Be cautious using Soolantra® cream if you have bronchial asthma, occasionally worsening of bronchial asthma has been reported.
  • Soolantra® cream is contraindicated to be administered without direct ophthalmologist supervision if you have severe case of Ocular Rosacea.  Ocular Rosacea can lead to loss of vision.
  •  We do NOT prescribe Soolantra® cream to anyone under the age of 18. Studies of Ivermectin safety have NOT been performed in children under 15 kg.
  • Soolantra® cream is not to be used in the eyes, orally or intravaginally.
IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS and WARNINGS 
    • Soolantra® cream is NOT for oral, ophthalmic or intravaginal use.
    • Ivermectin may cause dizziness.   Use caution upon standing.  Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
    • Serious side effects are very rarely reported.  But if you have any rare serious side effect or allergic reaction such as rash, itching/swelling, severe dizziness or trouble breathing seek immediate medical attention.



ADVERSE REACTIONS - SIDE EFFECTS:

Clinical trials have been conducted in 2047 subjects with inflammatory rosacea lesions:  1555 subjects were treated once daily for more than 12 weeks, and 519 were treated for approximately one year.

Adverse reactions, reported in less than 1% of subjects treated with Soolantra® cream for at least 3 months, included skin burning sensation and skin irritation. 

  • The  majority of patients using Soolantra® report no side effects. 
  • Rarely there have been reports of mild side effects such as headaches, dizziness, muscle pain, nausea or diarrhea when taking Oral Ivermectin.   But Soolantra® cream is NEVER to be taken orally.
  • There are NO systemic CNS toxicity as Ivermectin does not cross the blood-brain barrier.

  • How To Request an Soolantra® cream Ivermectin PHYSICIAN CONSULT:
      1. First read about Soolantra® cream and learn more about its indications and  contraindications and read and agree to the Waiver of Liability.
      2. Next, accurately and truthfully complete and submit a medical consultation questionnaire
      3. Your medial consultation will be reviewed by one of our Physicians and if approved you will either receive a written prescription or your prescription will be called into a local U.S. pharmacy of your choice or faxed to RXUSA.com or Murray Ave Apothecary.
      4. This physician evaluation is RISK-FREE.  If an Soolantra® cream prescription is not appropriate for you there is No charge. 
    I DO NOT HAVE ANY OF THE ABOVE CONTRAINDICATIONS:
    By accepting "I Agree" means that you have read the above contraindication, precautions and warnings and honestly acknowledge that you do not have any of the above contraindications to Ivermectin therapy.  Also, that I am aware of the side effects. Soolantra® cream (Ivermectin) is contraindicated in anyone who is hypersensitive to ivermectin, pregnant, breast feeding, or is under age 18. Soolantra® cream is NOT to be taken orally, not for ophthalmic use and not to be used intravaginally.  I understand that it is solely my responsibility to seek diagnostic and medical treatment for any underlying medical conditions from my own regular primary care physician.
